Classes - September through December 2009

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR CLASSES SO THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE PREPARED FOR YOU WHEN YOU ARRIVE.

CLASS KIT

For your own convenience please bring the following kit to each class:
Scissors
Your favourite Adhesive
Bone Folder (if you have one)
A container to carry your projects.


SEPTEMBER CLASSES

Christmas Cards (#1-10)

Fee: $20
Monday, Sept. 14, 1-3 pm OR Tuesday, Sept. 15, 7-9 pm
Registration Deadline Sept. 8th
Each class we will create 10 copies of the same design. September’s card will use the new “Scenic Season” stamp set.

Technique Classes

Fee: $10
Thursday, Sept. 24—1-3 pm OR 7-9 pm
Registration Deadline Sept. 16
Each class you will be learning two different techniques. You will take home a sheet with instructions for the technique as well as a card that shows the completed technique. Techniques for September:

Popping Pastels and Watercolour with Wonder Crayons


3-D Projects

Fee: $15
Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1-3 pm OR 7-9 pm
Registration Deadline Sept. 16
This can be anything that is not a card. In September we will use an Autumn theme to make a Creepy Crawly Treat Tin, and a Thanksgiving Journal.


SCRAPBOOKING CLASSES

Fee $15
Held the LAST TUESDAY OF EVERY MONTH from 1-3 pm OR 7-9pm
This includes layouts, paper, and embellishments for four 12x12 pages. There is a different theme for every month. September’s is Summertime” - great for scrapping vacations, family visits, camping, or gardens.

Registration Deadline is the 10th of each month.



OCTOBER CLASSES

Christmas Cards (#11-20)

This month’s card will use the new “Tree Trimmings” stamp set.

October’s project is the often requested “Merry Christmas” Accordion Banner.
You can see a sample of  it here.
This one used 2008 Designer Series Paper and we will be using 'Merry Moments' (p. 160 of the large catalogue)

This includes layouts, paper, and embellishments for four 12x12 pages. There is a different theme for every month. October is 'Birthdays'. Let me know the gender and approximate age and I will have appropriate papers and embellishments.

November’s project is a collection of 5 ways to package your small gifts, candy, or home cooking to give as Christmas gifts.

Monday, Dec. 7, 1-3 pm OR Tuesday, Dec. 8, 7-9 pm
Registration Deadline is November 30th
The cards we make this month will use the “Serene Snowflakes” stamp set.


SCRAPBOOKING CLASSES

This includes layouts, paper, and embellishments for four 12x12 pages. There is a different theme for every month. December's theme is "Babies" and could be your children or grandchildren or yourself as a baby.
